CLUSTER is proud to introduce new Board Members Doris Correa Capello, Jonathan S. Childerley and John Schopfer!
Doris Correa Capello, D.S.W. graduated from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service with a Doctorate in Family and Child Welfare. When asked about her reasons for wanting to work with members of the CLUSTER Community, Ms. Capello spoke of how impressed she was with the individuals of this organization, and their commitment to providing the best services in meeting the needs of the community. She is looking forward to becoming a part of their work in community activism and Social Justice. Fun fact: Ms. Capello studied Karate in College!
Jonathan S. Childerley comes to the CLUSTER Community with over 50 years of experience, primarily in government and the nonprofit sector. Mr. Childerley cited his desire to use his experience to make a positive contribution to individuals in need when asked about his reasons for wanting to work with the CLUSTER Community. Based on its positive history of work in the community, CLUSTER was the organization that best fulfilled that desire.
John Schopfer is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Law School, and he brings 44 years of experience to the CLUSTER Community in the areas of finance and law. After leaving Dutchess County, John and his wife have recently moved to Yonkers and are pleased to be back in the proximity of NYC, where he attended high school and lived for 35 years. He was attracted to CLUSTER for its history of philanthropy in a community of need. John is looking forward to his imminent retirement, and having the opportunity to use his skills to give back.
We are so pleased to welcome our newest Board Members and we look forward to working with you!
