Housing Resources Center

Background

Founded by CLUSTER, Inc. in 1988, the Housing Resource Center provides a wide range of housing services for the residents of Yonkers. Our services include legal assistance to prevent evictions, code enforcement for improved housing conditions, emergency assistance for displaced families, telephone “hotline” counseling to resolve housing crises, tenant education and training on housing matters, self-sufficiency case management for households who have faced homelessness, and the creation of Tenant Associations and Neighborhood organizations to help area residents improve their living conditions. The Center is funded by grants from the City of Yonkers, Westchester County and New York State. All of our services are available in English and Spanish.
